The Island KEFALONIA!

 

Kefalonia (also called Kefallinia or Cephalonia) is the largest Ionian island in the western Greece.

 

The main city (15min from the villa) is called Argostolli.

 

The island has its own Airport (EFL). During summer you ll get direct flights from UK, Italy and few other places in Europe. Outside of Summer months, the connection is mainlty done via Athens.

 

Other flight options exists during summer to the nearby island of Zakynthos. Then taking ferry to Kefalonia takes 1h10min, landing 10min from the villa.

 

Driving from Athens, it takes 3h30 to reach Killini and then you have 1h15 of ferry to reach Kefallonia (Poros)

 

It take 1h30 min to go across Kefallonia, so you will need to rent a car. No need for big car on the island! Aim at small and beautifull!
